power steering options!!!
My next step in my project is to buy the power steering setup for my truck (67 GMC c15). I've looked into pulling parts off other cars/trucks and decided to buy new.
I've found at least four different options: Ecklers for $700: http://www.ecklerstrucks.com/chevy-t...1967-1987.html Tuckers for $625: http://www.tuckersparts.com/Power-St...t-F-PSK67.html Brothers for $800: http://www.brotherstrucks.com/prodin...number=CPSK072 POL for $530: https://www.performanceonline.com/19...ONVERSION-KIT/ CPP for $699: CPP6772PSKS 1967-72, with CPP 500 Series box, kit $699.00 I think I also found a kit online for around $500, but can't seem to find that now. I'm planning on using a captain fab power steering adapter plate, since my frame isn't dimpled. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=332923 Here's my questions: 1. Anybody use one of these or a similar kit? If so, whats the good and bad? 2. What parts did you still have to buy, in addition to the kit? 3. Was it a pretty straightforward install? Thanks!
