This is something I wanted to share with you guys..
It is a tool I made for marking cut lines etc. When precise lines are required. It makes it very easy to adjust for thin trimming etc.. I used a block of steel 1/2 wide by 1/4 drilled a hole on both side so it can be rotated as needed. Then using welding rod,steel rod to fit the hole. it slides through and is welded to a collar with set screw. Then I used a piece of tungsten for the scribe. this is adjustable as is the length. then using the set screw on the top it locks it together. Pic #2 showing how it works...you can use Dykem or even a marker.. Hope this helps the home or pro fabricator... Mark...
