Let's talk windows ;)

Ok, done a search on here and looked in the lmc/brothers catalogs and still non the wiser, so maybe somebody that's already tackled this job can help.

I brought my 1954 back in August but it only arrived in the UK last week.

Now the seller forgot to tell me that there is no door glass, it has the quarter lights/vent windows but not the glass that goes up/down.

So the actual glass looks easy enough to get, it's flat it could be cut locally.

I also have in the truck the regulators, the up and down leaver on each side. Now the glass must mount to something and then this mount to the regulator, I located one site on the net that said to put this glass in the vent window has to come out, is that true.

Should I look to go to one piece windows? Or retain the vent.

Exactly what prt as I missing some metal bar I guess, but does the regulator contact direct with that, or is there something else.

Anybody got any pictures of what I am missing?

Thanks in advance
