Wiring Harness Options (Classic Update Kit) - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am going to completely rewire my truck with a new wiring harness and I don't know what to pick.

I can get a Classic Update wiring harness from AAW. I just have a couple questions. Maybe I should ask AAW, but there they are.

Is this the whole truck harness? Can I use HEI? Do I have to assemble it? What about internally regulated alternator?

I could also buy individual harnesses from M&H or AAW. These harnesses cost around $700 or so when you get the HEI and other features added.

Who has used this kit? Did you like it?
