Brake booster question

I'm up grading my 1970 3/4 ton from drum to disc in front so I ordered a 1972 booster/master cylinder combo from Advanced..figuring 72 had disc up front so it should all bolt right up...or not.

What I bought.

what came off my truck.

My original booster was bad so that's what prompted my combo purchase. The issue is the rod is longer on my new booster. Do I need a different bracket (longer) from a 72 to make this work? Should I just get a 1970 booster and then a 72 master?
