terryggoround Registered User Join Date: Nov 2013 Location: Oakland, CA Posts: 34	Hood release cable My 1985 GMC Jimmy has the hood release inside the cab and today I went to start and the battery was dead. WhenI pulled the hood release it felt like there was nothing attached. I got a long screwdriver and pulled on the hood release thru the grill but still not releasing. How do I get my hood open? Thank you for any help you can give to a rookie.
