Post your detail shots of beautiful restorations

I don't claim to have reached it with my truck, but I'm a huge fan of over-restored vehicles.

By over-restored I do NOT mean custom. I also love elegant fabrication, but that's a completely separate topic.

In this case I mean, for example, a Moraine booster with a Delco master and a factory prop valve. But instead of iron, stainless steel lines. But the tube nuts must be anodized to their factory colors.

There are a ton of Corvette NCRS that sweat these details, though they don't usually like -over- restoration (they want orange peel and overspray and bad gaps like it should be from the factory). But not so much in trucks. I guess over-restoring the bed wood is really common, but it's actually quite incorrect (and I did it too, but it should be body color).

I'd love to see photos of detailed builds. I'll post a couple of mine, but again, I know a lot of mine is "wrong". I intentionally have about 5 colors in my suspension (grey, dark grey, black, blue, cadmium) and it was probably all black or natural originally. But I love the contrast and detail while remaining "stock".

I guess in a way I mean "What it would look like if GM was Rolls Royce" or similar.
