New member from central Maryland area

I've been lurking here for some time but thought I'd finally join the forum and introduce myself. You guys are going to love this but I've never owned a pickup truck or a Chevrolet for that matter. I've mostly been into old Fords over the years, mostly Mustangs with a few imported cars along the way. A buddy of mine used to have an old LWB C10 that I would borrow on occasion and that's what planted the seed I guess. This summer I will be changing jobs and moving to coastal SC where I will have a lot more free time for fun stuff like hunting, fishing, cars etc. My goal is to buy a 1971-72 C10, preferably a short bed if I can find one for a decent price. I'm already looking and prices are all over the place but the hunt is half the fun. Anyway I'm still a ways off from then but figured I'd say hi for now, I really enjoy this website!
