C4 swap

Well, first off I'm new to your forum "Hi" to all . Now the question?I've picked up a 1962 C10 fleet side, started working on it and discovered that the front torsion bar suspension is slammed to the ground and i can't lift it back but I'm thinking i have access to a mostly complete 1985 corvette and I'm wondering if the C4 front suspension from it or place the body directly on the frame{with some fabrication} and use the whole thing. please let me know if anyone has done or heard of it being done
