Peanut butter and plastic

I got a nice shroud for my truck today so I decided to clean it up, before I put it on.
I wiped it down with Totally Awesome (Dollar store brand cleaner) until it was pretty clean, but it still looked old.
After some interweb searching I found this link showing how to restore plastic with peanut butter. Yep, PEANUT BUTTER!

I figured, what the hell. I polished my new shroud with peanut butter and it looks great!
Seriously, I'm amazed.
