Motor mount questions

Hey guys,
I've done some searching and saw that I would need a 1" spacer for the motor mounts (I have a 72 front crossmember on a 62 frame). If I read it right I would need a motor mount kit for a 72 truck and then I just get some 1" spacers, right?

Stock was a 283 v8 and I'm putting in a sbc 350 with a 700r4..

Sorry if I answered my own question, just want to make sure before I go out and buy a motor mount kit.
