73-87 motor mount spacer for 60-62 frame

Gentlemen, I'm sorry if I'm beating a dead horse here. I've run into a possible problem and have been searching and reading threads and can't find what spacer to run the 73-87 1/2 ton towers with the 60-62 frame. I've seen lots of guys use the 67-72 or the newer 3/4 ton towers.

I thought I was on the right track and thought I needed 1 1/2" spacer, but trying to put the engine after I had those and looking at it. Something just doesn't seem right, looks like the front is too high but the brackets seem to fit nicely with the frame. Put the radiator and fan on and the bottom of the fan was 6 11/16 and the top was 7 1/8". The rearward hole even lined up nicely. I took the best pictures I could, sorry if they're too big.

Thanks for any input. This whole project is 2 steps forward and at least 1 step back. I guess that's normal when you're trying to make sure everything is done once and correctly.
