Hex style adjustable tie rod sleeves

Morning guys,
I was working on the front suspension of my truck over the weekend and was installing my qa1 5251 tie rod adjusters. Seems like a lot of people here use them with no issues. They measure 4-7/8 in length and the factory ones are 6" I believe. Problem is when installed there is only about an inch or so of threads of the tie rod screwed into them. Is this enough you think? I have looked around and can't find longer hex style adjusters. Truck is a 70 c10 with narrowed porterbuilt arms.

Thank you
