wide tires up front with 6 inch drop

Wondering if any have put 295/50/15s up front with a 6" or more drop with either a 10" or 8" wide rim. I know you can run this size if your truck is dropped with only springs and maybe lowered control arms. This combo will probably give you a 4" to even a 5" drop up front. There are rubbing issues to worry too for sure especially if the backspacing is not the right one. I have 15x8 rallies and wondering if it'll work. Post pics if you have something similar. Thanks in advance.
