I have my axle off...

I got my axle off this past weekend and dropped it off at the shop. I am going from 3.07:1 ratio to 3.73:1. Along with the ratio change they are going to inspect the axel to make sure the bearings and other wear areas are in good shape. It is a 43 year old axel. I was told it will take 2-3 weeks to get it repaired and back to me.

Is there anything else I should inspect or change while I have the axle out? I had it down to the frame about 8 years ago but didn't do anything with the suspension or frame other than coasting it. Anything specific with with the leave springs? I thought about having the driveshaft rebalanced.
