1969 Chevy Complete Lowering Kit Options
Hey, guys. This is my first post, and it's all about the stance. I've already rummaged through threads. So, bare with me. I have had a '68, '70, and now a '69 C10 Short bed. The first two were lowered already. Guys... just look at the photos of the '69 here. It's.... its ridiculous.
So, since the others weren't in need of the suspension treatment, I'm lost on where to even start. My intentions are to put low pro tires, nothing less than 20" wheels, and a level 5" drop all the way around on this Chevy. However, the whole rubbing and non fitment thing is what I like everyone else is wanting to avoid. That's for later. I've been told to go spindles on front and lowering blocks out back. I had someone steer me away from using shackles. This is all foreign to me though. Static drops as opposed to bags, etc. etc. All foreign. Is there a site, a one stop shop to order a full kit other than Summit that can just provide me with everything I will need for a 5" drop on my C10? I want to be modest on the suspension pricing. Nothing over $500. I'll be having help with this project, but the guy is away for the next week. I want the parts to be on their way asap. Thanks in advance! I appreciate any feedback. |
