Agreed. How am I supposed to get my roof and windshield lichen to regrow on fresh paint? I would have to park the truck for 25 years for it to look natural. In seriousness I prefer my old truck to look like an old truck. It's not rusting out; only fading. A repaint just isn't a pressing need. To be honest it's the last thing on the list.
