cab corners with the cab installed??

Has anyone done cab corners with the cab still in place? My truck is running and I can remove the bed and put some temp lights to drive it to work to do the welding, but I can't leave it there. I also can't have it torn apart in my driveway for longer than 2 days because of the community I live in. So my course of action was to get my fuel tank moved to the rear under the bed, remove the bench seat and install a single bucket, take the bed off and drive it to work, pull the 1 bucket, and cut/weld in the cab corners. Can it be done? has anyone else done their cab corners while it is on the truck?

Welding is a lot like sex, you don't have to be great with the rod as long as you thoroughly prep the surface and your good at grinding
