47Firetruck Registered User Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Arlington, KS Posts: 15	74-70 axle swap I've got a 70 C-10 with the factor 12 bolt rear and 6 lugs. I also have a 74 1/2 ton parts truck with a 12 bolt rear and 5 lugs. Can I swap the 74 axles into the 70 12 bolt housing? Or should I just weld on new mounts and swap the whole diff? Thanks for the help!!
