water pump swap question

I need to do some modification on either the water pump or the radiator. Went from 216 to 235 on my 49 standard, and the fan is all the way into the radiator bracket on mock up. Is there a water pump solution for the 235 with a shorter fa vs. messing with the original radiator bracket and radiator position?
