Stock shocks?

Hello,

I am putting a 1" drop on the front and 3" on the rear. Just got the springs delivered and will be putting them in this weekend.

My question is do I use the stock shock lengths or does that require special shocks? I get conflicting info when I search. LMC says I don't but Brothers says yes.

Thank you for the help.

whoops... forgot to mention it's a '69 C10 2wd. I am putting an aluminum LS in. Keeping drum brakes (for now)
