70 LWB carrier bearing

Yesterday while going down the road the carrier bearing on my truck broke loose. It made an awful damn racket. Finally got her home in once piece. I'm scratching my head on why this may have happened. I'm still getting use to the two piece drive shaft. So I will try to do some catch up reading this week. I've got to get my truck running. Its almost summer and I'm ready to have some fun.
