is 600 cfm carb on a 400 SBC to small?

350 heads will not work on a 400 CID there are extra water jackets in the 400 heads.
Felpro Perma torque gaskets are good gaskets.
fwiw... if you need 1500 for heads, forget that and buy a crate engine
