k5 rocker fitment issues

Im trying to fit the passenger side rocker on my 70 k5. The issue I am having is that the rear portion sits way too high and is too far in. The front portion wraps over the edge of the rocker box on the very bottom edge but the rear is way high at the rocker box area and bed side area. If I move it out in the rear to where it should sit to match the front of the bed side there is a hell of a gap. I wish I could attach pics but cant seem on my phone. Anybody have one this far off? I have a keyparts and a tri plus rocker, both are about the same.
