hauling a UTV in a half ton

Hey everyone. I tried searching before posting but couldnt find an answer. I have a 87 silverado half ton with an 8ft bed. I bought a new rzr 570 and use my dads truck which is a 3/4 with a 6ft bed to bring it home. I dont want to bother him every time I need it taken in for service or when I go camping. The rzr weights 1000 pounds. Regardless of my vehicle being overweight since this maybe used as a hauler 3 times a year ill take the risk. What are stock rear leaf springs rated for and what replacement leaf springs should I look into.
