My truck is equipped with the worst steering system I have ever driven. Guiding my vehicle is like trying to steer one of those mega ocean going oil tankers.
Does anyone make a steering sector that would significantly decrease the amount of steering wheel turns that I would have to make to get a direction change? That or a year where the sector was changed to a significantly tighter ratio. I have what appears to me to be a "manual" steering sector mounted on the outside of the frame that operates a control valve and hydraulic ram fastened to the center link. The rest is conventional linkage. BTW This is my first post and I would like to thank the folks who allowed me onto this site.' Bill |
