Where Do You Hail From?

I just Googled my town to double check myself on what I thought the elevation was. I read the Wiki thingy and I thought maybe a thread for anyone who wants could tell or show us something about their town. I've looked up other towns I was curious about and I think pretty much any town will have some info listed, though maybe not so complete. There's a place where you can add info, too. Like my town, they have no info on geography, which to me is it's most interesting feature. I'll have to see about that. Two of Maryland's major rivers find their beginnings in the first major ridge as you travel west from the Chesapeake Bay in the piedmont region. I am in the valley to the west at the headwaters of Liganore Creek, which flows into the Monocacy River, to the Potomac, then the Chesapeake. The Patapsco (South Branch) and Patuxent rivers begin on the eastern side and flow directly into the Chesapeake. The Patapsco runs right to the Baltimore Harbor area while the Patuxent flows much farther south before reaching the bay. There is a train tunnel most in this town don't even know about. It's the longest tunnel till you get to The Rockies. four counties converge just south of town, and from that point the four counties west run from PA to VA borders. It is central MD where Eastern and Western divide. I live a few miles north of town on the road that is the county line for two northern counties in that convergence.
