Dipstick/Oil Pressure Issues

Hi All,

I'm new to this site, but have referenced it in the past and am hoping someone can help me out...

I have a '68 C10 stepside with a early-mid 70's 350 in it. Earlier this week I went to check the oil and noticed the tip of my dipstick (Mr. Gasket after market) had snapped off. Not knowing where my oil level was at any more I drained all oil, replaced filter and oil in hopes of making a new full mark. When I drove home (about 7 miles) I let the truck sit for awhile before checking my stick only to notice that even MORE of it had broken off and the side had slightly become curled.

Any ideas here?! Obviously I need to get a new dipstick. My oil pressure is running about 3/4 when I'm on the gas and settles in the middle when I'm just idling. Just don't wanna burn my baby up! Any advise re: diagnosis would be greatly appreciated!!
