Allow me introduce you to "THOR"

The last few days I've been walking around with a silly grin on my face.

Because I purchased a truck. But not just any truck. A special truck. So what is it?

4.8? Nope
5.3? Nope
6.0? Nope
6.2? Nope
Diesel? Nope

Meet THOR.

A 2003 GMC 2500HD extended cab 4X4 with 129K miles. He's equipped with the 8.1L Vortec. Backed by the 5 speed Allison transmission.

Plus, the PO added the following goodies....Valley 5th wheel hitch, Airlift 5,000 lb helper rear bags with remote, Prodigy 2 brake controller, tool box and turbo net tailgate.

Yea, I know the gas mileage is horrible....but who gives a crap.

I plan to fully use this for any/all of these purposes

1. Towing a race car trailer
2. Towing a camping trailer or boat
3. Carrying a truck camper

To own and drive a BBC truck is special. But to own the largest push rod BBC made with 496 cid is well, living large. The power is simply amazing.

Just had to share....
