what's the best way to do what? (with $1500)
I'm selling my wife's old car, looks like I'll get at least $1500 for it. We're using this money to get my truck back on the road since that will leave us with 2 cars. I need to figure out the best thing to do.
The engine is okay, but with about 120,000 miles on it. There's a problem somewhere with the fuel system, no fuel coming from the injectors. I want to keep fuel injection but would prefer TPI. I've got the bottom end (minus cam & rings) of a 383 in the garage. I'm not really sure what needs to be done. The custom fuel tank seems to be just enough that most mechanics don't want to mess with it, and I don't know of any hi-perf/custom places to take it to for a diagnostic. Anyone have any good ideas or opinions?
