Do I need new spindles?? Pics inside

Hi all,
Have a wobble in right front wheel. Went to replace the hub/disk but before I took it off I noticed the hub/disk assembly wobbled while I rotated it with no play in it. I took it off and this is the condition of the spindle







On the top of the spindle at the back (near the dust shield) it feels like a little groove/bump has been made as the bottom of the spindle is smooth. Do I need to replace this??
