Just did the math and the old timers were right!

so I calculated the numeric gear rations for my '68 C60 Spicer 5 speed ( 5756b) and an Eaton #19k rear (2 speed) and my overall ration goes from 59 1/2 : 1 to 6.71:1 with the "standard" shift pattern 1L,1H,2L,2H,3L,3H,4L,5L,4H,5H just seems weird that the last two change like that ...I guess it is OK as the last two are actual stick positions and not rear end changes.... seems like the most used ones on the road and more posative that way, but it still "bugs" me.
