Stock 454 carb/intake options - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I have a freshly rebuilt Gen IV 454 with the larger oval port heads that I'm throwing in a swb k10. The truck has 4.10 gears and a TH350 transmission and it will see little else than street cruising. All I need to be up and running is an intake manifold and a carb.

I'd like to use Edelbrock's Performer RPM intake manifold (PN 7161) along with a 750cfm carb. Will this intake work with an otherwise stock engine?
