Painting plastic inner door panels

I need black panels for the doors of my 72 K-10, and my originals are in nice shape, except that they are green (Parchment?)

Is it possible to paint these panels, and have them hold up? I was planning on using a matte finish black spray that says it's for plastic, but I hate to ruin a perfectly good pair of panels if it won't work. I've been searching for some good black panels, but so far, no luck
