CPP Modular Spindle Question

I have read sooo much conflicting information about how these spindles really affect track width. I'm wanting to do a big brake kit of some kind in the near future. So I'm just starting to gather information and decide what brand I want to go with. Most of the kits require the CPP Modular spindle. So here are my questions
1. Will my track width be narrowed by .75" per side going from an ECE 2.5" spindle to these?

2. Since these are only have 2" of drop, Is it ok to replace my 2" springs with 3" springs so that I don't raise my front end up any? Do 3" springs cause any problems?

3. Is .75" even noticeable to the naked eye? I like the way my setup looks now and don't want the front wheels to look too "sucked in". I guess I could run a spacer if I really had to, but would rather not.

Anyway, If anyone has any experience with this, I appreciate the advice. Thanks
