Front suspension for 67 C10

Hi,

I am new to the site and just picked up a 67 C10 swb fleetside. I am looking to make this truck a daily driver and something that I can use to haul my dirtbike around. That being said I have been looking into different options to update the front suspension and brakes. I noticed several different companies makes the IFS kit (heidts, scotts, tci, and porterbuilt) were the ones that I was looking at. I was getting a little deterred from the IFS route because of loss of ground clearance and the negative feedback of having a car front end under the truck (mustang II spindles etc). I am looking to still have ground clearance, something that handles better, but keeps the HD aspect of the truck. Right now I am deciding should I get an IFS kit or go with some aftermarket kit to rebuild the stock suspension. Any feedback or suggestions please let me know.
