has anyone saw this?
Am I missing something? I bought a 69 K5 blazer and tore into it. Tackled all the rust, A pillar,B pillar, replaced and repaired the windshield frame, repaired the rear floor reinforcement panels.
I've did several searches on here and read many build threads. But have yet to find anything referring to the process of correct rockerbox installation. I'm priming the bottom of the floorboard and the complete tortion boxes with epoxy primer before I install them.Afterwards I'm doing a spray in bed liner over it. I cant find on here anyone sharing there install of there tortion boxes. Is there any order into which is the best way to install? Just don't want to put the cart before the horse,,,,, ? would you drill holes in the front lip of the TB and weld to the lip on the firewall. ? should the TB be flush along the inner rocker/outter floorboard alone the bottom. ? Leave TB cap off until the TB itself is welded in, then install the TB cap or bolt in RB cap but leave lose then weld in the RB. Have I missed this on here or is this a good valid ? Thanks guy's, I know the answer's are soon to come..... Donnie
