Finally got someting done I have been putting off
About a year ago, I picked up a Duplicolor bedliner kit for my truck. Not so much for the bed, but I wanted to make my truck a black on bottom 2-tone. Being that my tires tend to throw larger stones up than usual I decided the roll-on bedliner would be a good way to get the color scheme I want with the benefit of a tougher coating to stand up to stones and whatnot better. I also had some surface rust issues at the bottoms of the doors.. So today I finally did it..
I sanded it down, primed, then applied 2 coats of bedliner to the bottom of the body and bed rails. I almost had enough to re-coat the inside of the box too... Came up just short. Here in this pic you can see the surface rust. ![]() Here it is with primer done. ![]() Couple pics after first coat of bedliner.. ![]() ![]() And now a couple shots with the job complete.. Also did a little touching up on several spot on the white. ![]() ![]() I was having a hard time getting a good pic, due to the bright sunshine today. But I am very happy with how it turned out. Truck looks worlds better than it did.
