Engine compartment before the restoration
Figure I'd give the front end/under carriage a bath before taking it apart. Can't say under the hood has been a disappointment. Within a few years it should be super, AC, stove pipe, paint, wires, etc.....Other than the HEI, the goal is original.
I got careless, the result was H20 in distributor and it wasn't happy. Another use for WD40, and back to running like a switch watch. I suspect the timing is a bit off though (I haven't checked it in 15 years, minimum (about 1K a year)). No big, within two weeks I put her to sleep anyway.
