Question Heater Switch (Part II)

'72 Pickup. Problem is no medium setting on the fan switch. I thought the low was not working but in the quite of the garage without the motor running the low setting is working.

Tested the switch and all appears in order. One pole hot on low, two poles hot on medium, three poles hot on high. Seems logical.

As suggested in response to my last post that the resistors are likely the problem. Well now my problem is locating them. I expected a panel on top of the heater box under the hood, nope. Any help?

Also, typical for my luck as one problem multiplies. It seems as though the fan is wired direct to power and is not going through the ignition switch, darn the luck. I pulled the ignition switch to remove the heater switch only to discover a loose wire in the ignition. and the saga continues.
