C-20 to C-10 Conversion
I ust got ahold of a complete front and rear end off of a 1972 c-10.
it has drop spindles, shocks, blah blah. Would it be easier to take the entire frount end off of my truck or just the parts that are different. on the truck i took the stuff from i had to cut the bolts that held it on to the frame cause they wouldn't turn. i could do that cause there was no engine, i dont want to have to do that to mine. Im changing it over cause i get the c-10 ring and pinion so that i get better highway miles...and i get 6 lug and might be able to get some 20's (if i find some $$$). Also the new ratio will help my speedo cause it is off cause of my smaller but wider tires. if anyone has some advise id apperciate it..remember im in college and got no $$$. thanks, Michael
