for those of you who made your own bed wood

So, I made my own bed wood, used some Colorado beetle kill pine. I used all the measurements from GMC Paul and everything fits nicely. I'm at the last stage of drilling the bed bolt mounting holes, and here is where I need to hear what some of you did.

I've been following all of Mar-Ks instructions for drilling the holes and have everything lined up, They say to use 1-9/16 Forstner bit to drill for the offset washers.

I cannot find one that size anywhere. I would have to special order it and with shipping would end up being pretty pricey for one bit. The washer is 1-1/2, I imagine the extra 1/16" in the hole is for the wood to expand and contract.

What did you do? just use a 1.5" Forstner and call it good? or I thought of using the 1.2" bit and then widening the hole a bit with a dremel.

Any insight from experiences is appreciated before I drill my boards.
