lowered- front tire clearance issue

I have a 75 C-10 thats been lowered with drop spindles, unsure of the drop.
I just realized how little room I have from the top of the tire to the inner wheel well. Theres only about 1.75"-2.0" of clearance.
It does rub occasionaly, like if I make a turn on a bit of a hill for example.
My concern is at speed, if I where to hit enough of a dip or bump in the road & it rubs, how disasteress could this be ?
Anyone else have a simialer situation ? is it a concern ?
