LT1 Burb: factory air ?
I know you are a hvac specialist and your 65 is just spot on restoration so I got to ask you. I used old air products to replace my condensor, evaporator core, valve, new proten6 a6 replacement compressor. Everything fit and finished better than new. Had to use one oem hose clamp due to crimping tool too big to crimp collar. Otherwise all fitings replaced with o ring style or crimped collars, I am adding the binary switch to the dryer and cutout wires running back in old style loom to compressor. I planned for R-134 and would still like the look of both the oem r12 steel caps? Anyway to make this work? I figured I could leave alone the R=12 high side fitting. What are you using on your 65? Thanks . Mark
