New here - My first 73 K5 Blazer
Here's my new project 73 K5 Blazer. I bought it just as it sits recently.
My biggest head ache, it has power windows and locks. I can't get the drivers side to work. Trying to find the relays or the fuses to make it work. A/C compressor spins freely, but the previous own has the belt off due to a leak somewhere 350 engine, leaks (rebuilt but who knows when, been painted) 350 transmission needs a rebuild, leaks unknown t-case (G-11426) full removable hard top BDS 6" lift 52" springs? (001609) 35" Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ Manual hubs bolt in roll bar 10 and 12 bolt axles - unknown gears Softopper soft top I've got a LS 6.2 and 80e that might find it's way into it really soon. . . time will tell how quickly I get bored with the carb'd engine and a Rochester Quadrajet Anything to look out for on replacing the door panels, dash pad, and dash bezel? I would like to go all blue vs the red and black that's in there now. My goal is to have a smooth comfortable ride for my 2 and 3 year old to enjoy, get the A/C working working. The carb is having issues starting after it's been sitting a while . . . hence how I found this site. |
