Quick 72 K2500 Front Spring Question

Can someone tell me if the front shackle is fixed on a 72 K2500? Or s it the rear?
Reason I ask is I'm getting ready to add steering to my 4x4 project. The donor is a 72 K2500 but I no longer have the frame to look at. I suspect that the movable shackle is at the rear to minimize bump steer but I'm looking for confirmation.
My project is a 54 GMC and it has the movable shackle at the front and I'm worried that it will be a bad setup like that. Trying to figure out if I have to change the shackle mounts or maybe switch it over to cross steer. Thanks!
