What Bellhousing do I need for my 283?

Hi all, I am in the process of doing a 250 to 283 engine swap. I took the old Bellhousing off the 250 before I junked it. My question here is this- can I use my old bell on my new 283? The main thing I'm concerned about is my starter. I'm not sure if this helps, but I do have some numbers. On the left side looking at the back of the bell it says GM11 on the right side it says 3815891. I'm putting a Muncie 4 speed behind it, but it seems the hole on the Bell is too small. Could I just widen it out with a plasma cutter? Thanks guys! Oh, and btw, its in a 1966 Chevy c-10. Thanks again!!!
