Rubber Body Insulator - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I'm doing a S10 chassis conversion. For the body mounts I'm using the S10 style mount.

For the front core support I want use something. I have leftover one of the original AD body mounts that a piece of rubber. LMC sells a kit for 20 that includes it:

...but I just want the rubber piece. I was thinking of just cutting the sidewall out of a tire. Any other ideas on material or where I could get it?
