Re: Martin's mi-STRESS, 1965 Long Fleetside C10 "Rebuild in ENGLAND"
As shown in the early post .
My power steering pump that came in my kit from POL is a Saginaw pump , that has keyway style pulley fitting , unfortunately the pump on the new engine I got has a push on style . I obversely wanted to use the new pump with the new box that came together . After looking on the net and asking all the trade stands at the supernatts my only option was summitracing so thanks to Don another part is on its way to his . The way things are going me and Rian will need a plane just for parts I did manage to get something at the show on Sunday though a flexplate cover and a set of seals Today I dropped off one half of the serpentine bracket , to Colin from my motorbike club , as the top section is broken and as he works in a welding shop. He will weld up the alloy for me . He will also be welding the the stainless steel flanges , to Rian's exhaust when he collects them from Darren I also got a call from the Sandblasters ,to say that I should be able to collect my crossmember and trailing arms next Saturday. So next weekend should be busy .
