New member with a 1960
Hi guys,
New member here. I just picked up a 1960 Apache 10, I jumped on the Rat Rod wagon and want to get this project rolling. I am wondering the best way to lower the truck and retain ride quality. I am not trying to put it right on the ground but would like to get the tires tucked up in the fenders, somewhere around 10 inches in the rear, right now it measures 22 inches from the bottom of the rear fender to the ground, I think about 10 inches would be ideal. I would like to relocate the fuel tank also! I am leaning towards a 5.3 LS implant as well! Below is a link to the wheels I was looking at, can you run a 16x10 rear and 16x8 front without issues? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/usw-54-7060/overview/ |
